Not a big fan of water? No problem! Making fruit infused water is a great way to stay hydrated and add a fresh taste to otherwise bland water. Citrus fruits and fresh berries hold up nicely in fruit infused water. Some tropical fruits like coconut or mango taste great too. And don’t forget the fresh veggies and herbs! Cucumber, mint and basil are some of our favorites that add amazing flavor.
Here are some great fruits to start with:
- Place fruit in bottom of jar and pour water in. Stir fruit around.
- Press the fruit lightly with a spoon to release some of the flavors. Add mint leaves if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour (overnight is best to allow the flavors to infuse). Add ice just before serving. Enjoy!
